In recognition of the state funeral for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, Monday 19th September 2022 has been designated as a national bank holiday. This is to allow individuals, businesses and other organisations to pay their respects to Her Majesty and commemorate Her reign, while marking the final day of the period of national mourning.

Torphins Playgroup Pre-school, along with schools and other early years settings, will therefore be closed to all staff and children on Monday 19th September and will re-open as usual on Tuesday 20th September.
